Revelations 01

Chapter 01: The Visitor From Years Ahead

       Still bickering left and right with one another, Dawn and Melodie were fighting over me as if I was some sort of priceless trophy. Ikkaku, in amusement, was dying of endless laughter. Without much of a struggle, we made it back to The Unity in space. However, what awaited me wasn't great news, well, one wasn't great. "Night, are you here?", I asked aloud. It took a slight while for her to finally respond. "Here, dad." "Anything happen while I was away?" It was then Night look disdainfully behind her shoulder. I looked behind her and saw a flashing screen. On that screen was Tyanna's name. It was something Night was afraid to reveal to us. She... died. For thirty minutes, we held a memorial ceremony for the great comrade. We were indebted to her, for she was the one who helped both of us back on Earth. The gratitude from Dawn and myself wasn't even close to enough. However, it was then I wondered about the twins, Calico and Lysten. However, when I saw them, I couldn't believe my eyes. The twins were... one being!! But how!? "Calico?... Lysten!?" "Boo!! You're only half-right. I am Calycio the Fox," he replied.  "Calycio!? As in one being!? How is this possible!?" "It's kind of a long story, so I'll try to be brief," he started explaining. "Our tribe had this secret art that very few of us could use. We could combine bodies, although for the ones like our former selves, this action deemed permanent, never to be reversed." "So that's why you were gone for so long, after you heard of Tyanna's passing." "Correct. Before her passing on, she entrusted us with a key to retrieve this art. This art comes in a form of a bracelet. Once worn by both parties, their bodies merge as a solid person. However, to those not of our kind, this is temporary, like a provisional combination, and would split apart pending on damage taken or time consumption.

       "It was then Melodie and Dawn brought their arguement indoors, whereas Night got involved. "Hands of my husband, you brat!!" "Not in my lifetime, you hussy!!" "Just what is going on here? Mom, are you seriously arguing with a girl? Who is she anyway?" At that point, I admire the sight of Night talking more adult-like than the both of them. However... that was rather short-lived. "Night, this girl is trying to take Strider away from us!!" "No way!!!" Soon, it was a three-way struggle. Dawn was pulling my right arm, Night had my left, and Melodie tugging my ponytail. I had to put a stop to this. "Will... you three.... please.... knock... it OFF!?" Bursting my energy, I caused a pulsating shockwave, bouncing all of them off of me. That was perhaps the very first time Ikkaku saw me in such a position. "Sheesh, what is with you all!?" Of course the next voice was unexpected entirely. "That's father for you. He can't be violent with women, but tries to get away from them."

       It was then I saw another grey hedgehog. He looked like... someone of my blood! Long hair, blue eyes, nonchalant attitude, and a large sword he carries with one hand. As well as the fact he addresses me as his father. "You know awfully alot about me. Just who are you, really!?" "I sense hostility. You must be itching for a fight." How in the hell did he know much anout me? "Fine then, come on!!" As we stood off, I noticed his eyes flicker red. Like he was about to transform. I took no chances and did the same. My assumtions was right. He, too could use Super stage. As we fought, he used the same exact moves I used, with exception of the ones I just acquired. It was a stalemate, but I decided to kick it up a notch. I transformed in to Ultimate stage, becoming stronger than him, but still holding back. I won, but I wasn't ready for his answers. "Now, who are you?" "You're better than I thought. I'm proud to be your son, father." Father? SON!? Something didn't make any sense. How could I have a son that looks like a teenager? And where did that sword come from? "I guess I should explain better. I am your son, but from another time. My mother would have already died, my sister grown up, and both of your transformations maxed out by the time I reached this age." "So you are of my blood, from the future. But more importantly, who exactly are you?"

"My name," he answered, "is Tony R. Burstix, but I'm better known as your son, Blade."
